Seeing what is right in front of you.
Almost a year since our last trip. It was definitely overdue and time for another.
Road trips are always fun, From our six year old, saying "are we there yet" from Home to Lloydminister six times. I think it is safe to say he is pretty excited.
Six is the age where they can remember more and for longer, it is a very fun age. Yet very exhausting.
In total for that day we received eight, "are we there yet."

R was starting to get distraught when he forgot to pack his swimsuit. Reminded him to breathe. And once again reminded him we will stop at Walmart and find him one. So proud of him, on how quick he turned around and calmed down.

The boys were waiting till we were in Saskatoon, so they could go on their tablets.
#1 Rule for road trips is tablets last 2hrs of the days leg. Tablets are allowed.
Driving allows you to slow down and see, really see. I have never noticed before, how many cylos were in their fields.
Alberta has oil pumps everywhere in our fields, Saskatchewan has cylos.
M asked what can I do as we drive through Saskatoon.
I ask him what's different here than home. He came up with an amazing anwser.
• "the houses here are smaller than at home."
Some other discussions had:
• where does milk come from?
• is usa bigger in size than canada?
• how many more hours to hotel? Twenty minutes, and M asking how many hours. Explaining zero hours because its twenty minutes to hotel.
We started our license plate game, how many states can we collect in a week? So far we've got Virginia and Maine.
